Cultural Leadership Programme (CLP)
The CLP has provided funding for two action learning sets which we offered to alumni from the Leading Modern Public Libraries and Leading Archives and Museums programmes to continue their learning and development. Action learning sets are a widely recognised way of identifying and solving real work-based concerns.
In 2006, we were commissioned to design and deliver a series of action learning sets for library managers in England. As part of this work, we also carried out an innovative research project into the effectiveness of action learning for staff and managers in the cultural sector on behalf of the CLP.
We delivered a similar cycle of learning sets for archives managers in England in 2007.
